Lisa helped my daughter find her voice in the college essay. I feel the essay was a large part in all of her college acceptances. She even got a handwritten note back from an admissions person saying how much they loved the essay. My daughter was willing to take on the responsibility of creating a thoughtful essay, and that was achieved through Lisa’s expertise and guidance. Thanks Lisa!

COMPREHENSIVE WRITING PACKAGE

Start-to-finish essay writing support, including brainstorming and as many drafts as necessary to complete the personal statement and supplemental essays for up to 10 schools, plus an activities list review.

$1000

ADD-ON FEES INCLUDE:

  • Late fee of $100 – $300 (on top of regular fee), to be determined based on scope of work to be done and time needed to complete it. A call or Zoom is required to determine if the late start is workable, with the fee to be discussed and agreed to at that time.
  • School list outliers; i.e., schools with more than 3 essay supplements or that have their own applications.

Colleges with more than 3 essays currently include, but are not limited to: Georgetown, Harvard, Carnegie Mellon, Princeton, Yale, Columbia, Wake Forest, Brown, MIT, and Stanford. U Chicago has just two essays, but there will be an extra charge as their one “famous” essay is uniquely time-consuming and will not overlap with any other essay.

Extra fees:
4-5 essays: $100 per college
6-8 essays: $200 per college
UCs: $200

Essay services begin with an initial free consultation that includes parent(s) and the student to ensure we all understand the process and expectations before moving forward.

Payment can be split into two equal amounts (first payment due when services begin; second payment after completion of the first essay).
